With the assistance of the China Machinery Industry Association and the professional guidance of international associations such as the Trenchless Technology Committee of the Geological Society of China, the International Association for Trenchless Technology, and the Japan Trenchless Technology Association, the 29th China International Trenchless Technology Seminar and Exhibition (ITTC2026) will be held from April 22nd to 24th at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Tianjin).
The annual China International Trenchless Technology Seminar and Exhibition (ITTC) is showcasing the vibrant energy and development potential of China's trenchless technology industry with an unexpectedly large scale and a wealth of cutting-edge technologies. Horizontal directional drilling rigs are construction equipment used to lay flexible underground pipelines without excavating the ground surface. Their working principle is to control the drill bit to move underground along a predetermined trajectory through a guiding system. First, a pilot hole is drilled, then the hole diameter is enlarged through a hole-reaming operation, and finally the pipeline is pulled back into the hole, thereby achieving trenchless crossing under obstacles such as roads, rivers, railways, and buildings.
The N-series trenchless horizontal directional drilling reducer, developed and manufactured by SGR plays a crucial role in driving the rotation and propulsion of the drill rod in horizontal directional drilling rigs. Based on the principle of power splitting and combining, the N-series reducer uses internally and externally meshing planetary gears for transmission, resulting in high power density, strong load-bearing capacity, and diverse power options, including conventional motors, hydraulic motors, or permanent magnet motors. The gears are made of high-strength alloy steel, quenched and ground, offering high strength, good wear resistance, and a long service life. The reducer uses a ductile iron housing, exhibiting low impact deformation and high strength.
SGR provides a full range of N-series trenchless horizontal directional drilling reducers in various specifications. The push-pull reducers have a reduction ratio of 12-52 and a torque from 2000 Nm to 80000 Nm, while the rotary reducers have a reduction ratio of 5-20. Mass production is available, with fast delivery, and can meet the application needs of various scenarios.
