The reducer factory SGR boasts a highly skilled and capable R&D and design team. Comprising doctoral candidates and senior engineers spanning multidisciplinary fields—including mechanical engineering and electrical control—the team possesses a solid foundation in mechanical transmission theory combined with extensive practical engineering experience. Actively participating in industry associations and technical exchange initiatives, the team works to integrate innovative industry advancements into mainstream reducer technology solutions.

 

For instance, the N-series planetary gear reducer developed and manufactured by SGR feature gears crafted from 20CrMnTi alloy steel that undergo carburizing, quenching, and precision grinding processes. These units offer numerous advantages, including multi-tooth load sharing, smooth and reliable operation, and high mechanical efficiency. The design philosophy and manufacturing techniques behind the N-series planetary gear reducers align with those of leading international reducer brands, enabling them to serve as direct replacements for equivalent products from global manufacturers such as Brevini, Dynamic, Rossi, and Bonfiglioli.

 

SGR’s own factory with abundant equipment

 

The reducer factory SGR operates its own factory, spanning an area of15,000 square meters. The facility is equipped with advanced professional machinery, including a four-shaft linkage complex surface CNC grinding machine,vertical and horizontal machining centers, gear machine tools, and CNC vertical turning centers, as well as various other general and specialized machines.

 

The reducer factory SGR also possesses the first toroidal worm precision measuring instrument in China, a world-leading device capable of measuring toroidal worms with Grade 4 precision—thereby ensuring that the tooth profile geometry meets DNV/ISO standards.

 

The reducer factory SGR is also equipped with a comprehensive array of testing equipment,including coordinate measuring machines, micro-hardness testers, geometric precision measuring instruments, and reducer power performance test benches, thereby establishing leading technical capabilities and a specialized system that integrates design, production, and technical services.

 

Rigorous quality control system

 

SGR has obtained ISO 9001 quality system certification and strictly adheres to the standard requirements of the ISO 9001 quality management system throughout every stage of the manufacturing process. From the inspection of incoming raw materials and the control of critical production steps to the final factory testing of complete units, SGR places great emphasis on every single detail, thereby providing a robust guarantee for the stable performance of its planetary and worm gear reducers.

 

Precisely by virtue of rigorous quality control and management, as early as 2009, the N-series planetary gear reducer was awarded the "First Prize for Scientific and Technological Achievements in the Gear Industry" by the China Gear Professional Association; furthermore, it was recognized as a "Shanghai High-Tech Achievement Transformation Project" and secured an invention patent.
