While planetary technology powers high-dynamic applications, many industrial processes demand high reduction ratios, self-locking capability, and extreme shock resistance—precisely where worm gearboxes excel.

SGR’s C-Series double-enveloping toroidal worm gear reducers represent the company’s second pillar of technical excellence and its current R&D focus.

Unlike conventional cylindrical worm gears, the C-Series employs a double-enveloping (toroidal) design, where both the worm and worm wheel are concave, creating a multi-point contact zone that dramatically increases load capacity and efficiency (up to 30–50% higher than standard worm sets).
