The 30th Asian International Power Transmission and Control Technology Exhibition (PTC ASIA 2026) will be held from November 3rd–6th, 2026, at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. Since its inception in 1991, and spanning 35 years of development, PTC ASIA has grown into the premier platform for power transmission and control technology in Asia—and the second-largest globally.

02 SGR, A Leading Force Among Domestic Gear Reducer Manufacturers

SGR (Shanghai SGR Heavy Industry Machinery Co., Ltd.) is a long-established player in the domestic speed reducer market, with two product series developed by the company that each offer unique advantages.

The N-series planetary gear reducer features gears made of 20CrMnTi steel, which undergo carburizing, quenching, and precision grinding. This design allows for load distribution across multiple gear teeth, ensuring smooth, reliable operation and high mechanical efficiency. Positioned as a direct alternative to imported equivalents—fully compatible with products from brands such as Brevini, Dynamic, Rossi, and Bonfiglioli—the N-series incorporates design concepts and production technologies on par with international standards. Thanks to localized support and an excellent price-to-performance ratio, these reducers have earned widespread recognition across various industrial sectors, including construction machinery, marine auxiliary equipment, mining machinery, and textile printing and dyeing equipment.

The C-series worm gear reducer features multi-tooth meshing between the worm and the worm wheel. The worm is crafted from 20CrMnTi steel, undergoing carburizing, quenching, and precision gear grinding, while the worm wheel is made of high-performance alloy bronze, ensuring long-lasting wear resistance, high transmission efficiency, and an extended service life. Compared to standard cylindrical worm gear sets of the same specifications, this series offers significantly higher load-bearing capacity and transmission efficiency. Furthermore, it provides a mechanical self-locking function at high gear ratios, which effectively enhances the safety of lifting machinery. Additionally, the mounting dimensions of this reducer are interchangeable with the CAVEX® worm gear units from a certain international manufacturer; we also offer custom-engineered key transmission components to meet specific customer requirements.

With over a decade of focus on the R&D of speed reducers, SGR has successfully obtained ISO9001 certification and certification from the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RS).
