Double Enveloping Worm Gear Reducer

All SGR double enveloping worm gear reducer (series C) features a 4-axis linkage process, T2 ≤ 160 000 Nm toque range and ≥ 10 speed ratio. This makes this enveloping worm gear a perfect choice for heavy duty and high load applications.

With the help of our R&D team, every SGR double enveloping worm gear reducer comes with a high torque gearbox design. The worm wheel is meshed by a worm shaft with multi-tooth. Also the shaft’s surface hardness (HRC 58-62) guarantees the worm gear efficiency.

All our worm gear reducers are constructed from tin-bronze alloy. These reducers are abrasive resistant and generate elastic hydrodynamic lubricant film while in dynamic condition.

We have increased the meshed tooth by 2 – 5 times while the bearing capacity and service life by 3-4 times. This is not the case for Archimedes worm gears with the same specification. As a result, the SGR double enveloping worm gear reducer transmission efficiency has actually tripled.

SGR is the only cone drive gearbox manufacturer to adopt this new technology. The technology is solely based on research and collaboration between our R&D team and learning institutions.
